The TURBO Programme by Sonic Boom Music CIC is your gateway into the world of music festivals. If you're 15-25 and curious about how big festivals come to life, this hands-on programme gives you real experience in lighting design, sound production, photography, and more!

You'll work alongside industry pros, get a glimpse behind-the-scenes of Sonic Boom Music Festival, and gain practical skills that'll boost your creative confidence — while earning an Arts Award Bronze qualification.

When does it happen?

TURBO takes place alongside the Sonic Boom Music Festival in early September. You'll get exclusive access to industry-standard gear, insider contacts, and hands-on festival production experience. Check out the application form for specific course dates.

Anyone aged 15-25 with a passion for music, creativity, and festivals! You don't need previous experience — just bring your enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to get involved in the action.

It's completely free! The programme is supported by Sonic Boom Music CIC, ESBC and Burton & South Derbyshire College.

The TURBO Programme guides you through all four Arts Award Bronze elements:
