Leading a new generation of female fronted bands, Eighty Eight Miles are a colourful, infectious Indie Pop/Rock collective from the Midlands, UK. With their name originating from the hit movie trilogy ‘Back To The Future’, the foundation of their music is built upon a wide variety of inspirations such as Fleetwood Mac, The Beach Boys, Blossoms, Declan McKenna and The Mamas and The Papas.

Eighty Eight Miles continue to grow, performing at major UK and EU festivals such as Isle of Wight Festival, Viva Sounds Sweden, The Great Escape, Truck Festival, YNOT Festival, 2000 Trees and more. They have enjoyed support slots with bands such as The Lottery Winners, Red Rum Club, The K’s and overpass.

The 2024 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Contest long-listers have had notable radio recognition from the likes of Radio X Host John Kennedy, with their last two singles debuting on the X-Posure show as ‘X-Posure Hot Ones’. They have also had significant support from BBC Introducing, being played on BBC Radio’s Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincolnshire and West Midlands.

The band have also had social media recognition from artists such as Blossoms, Red Rum Club and even Fleetwood Mac’s own Lindsey Buckingham.
